Meet Camekia Hammond, Esq.
Camekia Hammond is the founder and lead attorney of C. Hammond Law Firm, bringing a wealth of experience, dedication, and personalized service to every client she represents. A native of St. Matthews, South Carolina, Camekia's passion for real estate and justice began early in her career. While attending Claflin University, she worked in real estate leasing and sales, laying a strong foundation for her future in law.
After earning her undergraduate degree, Camekia relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend law school. Following graduation, she began her legal career in financial compliance and regulatory law before returning to her roots in real estate. As a real estate attorney, Camekia has successfully closed more than 5,000 residential and commercial transactions, earning the trust of individuals, families, and businesses throughout the region.
Camekia is not only a skilled attorney but also a committed community advocate. She actively volunteers across North and South Carolina with organizations including North Carolina Legal Aid Housing, the disaster relief programs of the NC, SC, and Southern California Bar Associations, the Mecklenburg Council for Elders’ Criminal Expungement Clinic, and both the Mecklenburg and Richland County Bar Associations.
Outside the office, Camekia is a devoted wife and mother of three. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling internationally—experiences that enrich her personal and professional life.
